My boss got fired

Things have been a bit stressful at work as a result. We're reorganizing the department and will be reporting directly to the VP with no supervisor. Total upheaval at work. Naturally this occurs while I have 0 financial security. Helps me sleep better. Katherine's last grandparent died. With all of our grandparents now gone, and all of our parents in the kind of health that doesn't promote longevity, it's kind of scary to think that we could lose all of our roots pretty easily. The best news I have right now is that I have a good job, a great wife, and decent potential for the future. Gotta keep things in perspective.
